Duke University Graduate – Joe F. Berini, 1939
- East Carolina University – Dante Berini, 1963-1967; Joe Berini, 1990-1992; and Donny Berini, 1992-1996
- Home Builders Association (HBA) of Durham, Orange, & Chatham Counties – Company member since 1985. Dante has served many years on the HBA Board of Directors, Executive Board, and Association President in the year 2000. Donny served on the Board of Directors in 2007 and 2008.
- On two separate occasions, in 1995 and 2000, Dante was recognized with the coveted “Builder of the Year” award from the HBA.
- The HBA has also frequently recognized Joe F. Berini Construction Co. with Gold, Silver, and Bronze Parade of Homes Awards, honoring the company for its high quality work.
- Member of the Better Business Bureau and the Durham Chamber of Commerce
- Builder in the 2005 Habitat for Humanity Building Blitz, an event in which seven Habitat for Humanity homes were built in a seven day period.
